TOMATO PAPPADAM
Tomato Pappadam – Kerala Pappadam with a Tangy Tomato Twist
Straight Outta Palakkad – A Rare Find, All Natural & Authentic Recipe
About Tomato Pappadam
Muralis' Tomato Pappadam is a rare and delightful find – a traditional Kerala-style pappadam made with an authentic Palakkad recipe, now with the bold, tangy flavour of tomato. Made from rice flour, ragi, red chilli, and asafoetida, these thin, round pappadams are crafted the old-fashioned way and are completely all-natural with no artificial colours or flavours. The result is a pappadam that is light, crispy, and full of character – a true taste of Kerala in every bite. From the house of Sri Krishna Sweets, this is one you won't find everywhere.
Ingredients
Rice Flour, Salt, Ragi, Red Chilli, Asafoetida.
How to Prepare
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the pappadam for a few seconds until it puffs up and turns crispy. Serve immediately for the best crunch. Can also be roasted directly over a flame for a lighter, oil-free option.
