RAAGI PAPPADAM
Raagi Pappadam – Kerala Pappadam with the Goodness of Ragi
Straight Outta Palakkad – A Rare Find, All Natural & Authentic Recipe
About Raagi Pappadam
Muralis' Raagi Pappadam is a rare and wholesome find – a traditional Kerala-style pappadam made with an authentic Palakkad recipe, enriched with the nutritional goodness of ragi (finger millet). Made from rice flour, ragi, red chilli, and asafoetida, these dark, round pappadams carry the earthy depth of ragi and are completely all-natural with no artificial colours or flavours. When fried, they puff up into light, crispy discs with a distinctive colour and a subtly nutty, wholesome flavour. A truly rare find from the house of Sri Krishna Sweets.
Ingredients
Rice Flour, Salt, Ragi, Red Chilli, Asafoetida.
How to Prepare
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the pappadam for a few seconds until it puffs up and turns crispy. Serve immediately for the best crunch. Can also be roasted directly over a flame for a lighter, oil-free option.
